About me
My name is Felix Schwindack and I studied social work and social education (2009-2013) at the Evangelische Hochschule Berlin. My major field of study was social psychiatry.
During my studies I collected many years of experiences in working with children, teenagers, adolescents and their parents as a family counselor and social assistant in Berlin.
Furthermore, I started in autumn 2013 to study cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for children, teenagers and adolescents at the academy of psychotherapy and interventional research (API) at the university of Potsdam and graduated in fall 2017 with a state examination.
After my studies I been employed as a psychotherapist in a psychiatric practice in Berlin Schöneberg (beginning of 2018 till summer 2019). From summer 2019 to spring 2023 I worked as an independent psychotherapist in own private practice in Berlin Wilmersdorf. Since early 2020 I started a further education in animal centered interventions. My dog Anton, who is a tested therapy dog, supports me since Mai 2020 in my work with the children, teenagers, adolescents. In spring 2023 I opened up my new state licensed practice in Glienicke / Nordbahn.
